May is an awesomely busy month here as we have all of our final performances for our Rock Shows and Band Programs. Not to mention our first Bandits Interstate tour.

NEW SEASON SHOW THEMES

Sundays 11am - ALT/HEAVY FESTIVAL SHOWDOWN (U18)

It’s been a while since we’ve done a “Heavy” show and we’ve been totally inspired by the awesome festivals all over the world. We’ll be doing stuff from The Download Festival, Coachella, Milwaukee Summerfest and Rock In Rio just to name a few. We’ll be including bands such as - Prophets Of Rage, Royal Blood, Mastodon, Gang Of Youths, Guns N Roses and Ozzy Osbourne.

Tuesdays 4.30pm - NIRVANA vs AC/DC (U18)

If you want to learn the tips, tricks and techniques of 2 of the greatest rock bands the universe has given us, then this is the show for you. Just imagine yourself up on stage ripping out some Angus Young riffs, a Dave Grohl drum fill or even some silky Kurt Cobain vocals. We can make all of this happen on songs like Highway To Hell, Jail Break, Thunderstruck, Come As You Are, Heart Shaped Box and of course, Smells Like Teen Spirit.

Thursdays 4.30pm – POP/PUNK (U18)

Pop/Punk is one of the most popular genres of music that we coach here at Big Music and due to popular demand, we are rolling out some of the coolest bands of all time in this killer show. Green Day, Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, 30 Seconds To Mars and A Day To Remember are all featured in this ridiculously awesome show.

Wednesdays 7.30pm – 70’s SMASH HITS (Over 18’s)

Can you imagine any better “Good Times” than ripping out all of the coolest hits from one of the greatest decades in music history in one show. This show is all about artists like Stevie Wonder, Fleetwood Mac, Rod Stewart, Blondie, David Bowie and even The Kinks. Time to get off the couch and onto the stage with this retro monster of a show

Thursdays 7.30pm – 80’s SMASH HITS (Over 18’s)

This show has no preference for any one genre of music, simply the biggest “SMASH HITS of the 80’s. We’ll be checking out everything from Howard Jones, Duran Duran, Simple Minds, Culture Club, Kate Bush and of course The Eurythmics. Leg warmers and Hypercolour T shirts are optional.
