Band Program FAQS

1. What is a the Band Program?  The Band Program at Big Music is a unique rock and roll performance program where you'll join a cast of a themed Rock Show with other musicians, form bands and prepare for a live performance in front of friends and family at Big Music's own venue.
    

2. How much experience do you need?  To get the most out of the program, you need to be at Level 4 on Big Music's Player Evolution grading scale. There is no expectation that you will have ever played in a band before, but you do need a basic level of competency on your instrument.  Guitarists must be able to play power chords and understand guitar tabs. Bass players and drummers must be able to play through an entire song confidently and understand tempo and rhythm. Keyboard players must be able to play through an entire song using both hands. Singers must be able to learn songs at home and perform them with a band without reading lyrics.  That's about it!
    

3. What will you get out of it it?  A huge buzz, new friends and unforgettable memories!  By joining the Band Program, you'll receive mentoring from highly experienced pro-musicians, improve your overall musicianship, access state-of-the-art rehearsal and performance facilities, meet other like-minded musicians, and experience playing in a live band in front of a real audience filled with your family and friends.
